Sexual Violence & Education Policy

Sexual violence is defined as “any act targeting an individual’s sexuality, gender identity or gender expression, whether the act is physical or psychological in nature, that is committed, threatened or attempted against an individual without an individual’s consent.”

Tau Sigma Phi does not condone any acts of sexual violence against its members, members of the Greek community and anyone outside Greek organizations.

Every chapter of Tau Sigma Phi is required to follow the Sexual Violence & Education Policy.  The purpose of the policy is to prevent sexual violence by spreading awareness through educating members on sexual violence and prevention strategies. It also aims to create a safe environment for all members and guests including survivors at all Tau Sigma Phi events.
